In a rare combination of ‘Perspectives’ from visual artistry and architecture, Camille Henrot and Odile Decq aim to uncover space and the world from a twofold view; while Henrot uses her artistic background to explore the inauthenticity of objects, travel and its misunderstandings, Odile presents a challenge to our perspective by creating impressions of depth and horizon where really there is none. The meeting of these two minds, a visual artist and an architect allow us to see our destination as more than just a place but rather an opportunity to look at things from new perspectives.

La Nuit des Musées, presented by the French Department of Culture brings the community together for one night annually in an effort to provide greater access to the many works of art housed within France’s museums. Each participating venue is welcome to create their own special program to entertain their visitors. Venues throughout France are welcome to participate with one stipulation – free access to their museums for this one special night.

Fête de la Musique, also known as World Music Day is an annual event, taking place in Paris every summer on June 21st. The events slogan, ‘Faites de la musique’ means ‘make music’ and the performers do just that – whether its contemporary, rock, blues, funk, groove, r&b, soul, traditional, rap, hip hop, jazz, classic, electronic, or reggae – these performers set up in venues and streets all over Paris for a large-scale festival aimed to please a wide range of ears.
